Do you want reality or dreamland?

Dreamland - Directing and editing a single documentary every couple years. Make enough on those and live life.

Reality - I live in Toronto. Once home to SARS. The film industry is huge here, but there is no work for those just starting out. It all comes down to who you know, not what you know!

Honestly, I might move to England for the summer and work there. I have an opportunity to sail from Dartsmouth to near Glasglow up the Irish Sea. Why not work after doin' that?

This is a terrible question. This is why filmmakers and actors are so egocentric.

Practiced acceptance speech. Yes, when I was like 18.

Now, I am honestly going to pursue how to get my films permantly removed from Academy consideration.

Why do we need awards? Think about it - it's for insecurity. The only reason is if your a beginner just starting out - the award gives you recognition and a chance. But for people already established? It's to raise their asking price. That's why.

Yeah I believe that was belovedmonster's very same reaction to something I wrote a while back.

As I said before - I got tons of issues. [img]mad.gif[/img] [img]eek.gif[/img]

One of them is not being afraid to say what's on my mind. I know. It's a big problem I have. It's certainly not the kind of thing that helps in filmmaking. Filmmakers arent supposed to have their own voices - their supposed to be shy little (greedy) lemmings.

But anyway...
